What are internal domains?

Answer

Internal domains are email domains that Focal considers part of your organization. They are used with the "There's an external guest" auto-join rule — Focal only joins meetings with at least one participant from outside your listed internal domains.

Steps to manage internal domains

  1. Go to Settings > Joining meetings
  2. Under Internal Domains, type a domain name and click Save
  3. To remove a domain, click Delete next to it

Good to know

  • Internal domains only matter if you use the "There's an external guest" auto-join rule.
  • Add all your organization's domains (e.g., meetwithfocal.com, yourfirm.com).
