Ask Focal is an AI chatbot built into each conversation and client profile. It lets you ask natural-language questions about a specific meeting or client, and Focal answers based on the conversation transcript and meeting data.

Steps — Ask Focal on a conversation

  1. Go to Conversations and open a conversation
  2. Click the Ask Focal tab
  3. Type your question in the input field (e.g., "What did the client say about their retirement goals?")
  4. Focal will respond with an answer based on the meeting transcript

Steps — Ask Focal on a client

  1. Go to Clients and open a client profile
  2. Click the Ask Focal tab
  3. Type your question (e.g., "What is this client's income?")
  4. Focal answers based on all conversations with that client

Good to know

  • Chat history is temporary — it is not saved between sessions.
  • Ask Focal on a conversation only searches that specific meeting's transcript.
  • Ask Focal on a client searches across all conversations with that client.
  • Example questions: "What was the client's budget?", "Did we discuss insurance?", "What action items came up?"
