How do I fill a PDF or spreadsheet from a conversation?

Answer

Open a conversation and click the arrow next to "Fill PDF document" or "Fill spreadsheet" in the Flows sidebar. Focal uses AI-extracted meeting data to auto-populate your document template.

Steps

  1. Go to Conversations and open the conversation
  2. In the right sidebar under Flows, click the arrow next to "Fill PDF document" or "Fill spreadsheet"
  3. Follow the prompts to select your template and map the data
  4. The status changes from "Not started" to "Done" when complete

Good to know

  • Fill PDF is useful for compliance forms, client intake documents, and planning worksheets.
  • Fill spreadsheet is useful for tracking client financial data in a structured format.
  • The data comes from the AI-extracted meeting content (same data visible in the Data tab).
