How do I manage tasks from a conversation?

Focal automatically extracts action items from your meetings and lists them under "Review and push tasks" in the Flows sidebar of each conversation. You can review, edit, and add tasks from there.

Steps

  1. Go to Conversations and open a conversation
  2. In the right sidebar, make sure Flows is selected
  3. Scroll down to "Review and push tasks" — the badge shows how many tasks were extracted
  4. Click the expand chevron on any task to see details
  5. Each task shows: description, status (Not started), due date, and assignee

Steps to add a manual task

  1. Click "+ Add task" below the existing tasks
  2. Fill in the Title, Description, Due date, Assign to user, and Status
  3. Save the task

Good to know

  • Tasks are AI-generated based on action items mentioned during the meeting.
  • You can change a task's status, due date, and assignee at any time.
  • Tasks can be pushed to your CRM along with the meeting summary.
