How do I set data retention policies?

Answer
Go to Admin > Firm settings to configure how long Focal keeps your conversation data and transcripts. You can set separate retention periods for each.
Steps
- Go to Admin > Firm settings
- Under Conversations Retention Period, select how long to keep conversation data
- Under Transcripts Retention Period, select how long to keep transcripts only
- Save your changes
Good to know
- "Forever" removes the retention policy — data is kept indefinitely.
- Transcript retention only deletes raw transcripts. Summaries, tasks, and emails remain.
- Only Admins can change data retention settings.
